He already got a formal apology from the police. Keeping in mind what happened in Orlando not long ago I don't think they really over reacted. The stupid woman who caused the incident definitely should be sacked and possibly prosecuted.

Prosecuted for what? Being a mouth breather isn't a crime.

just watched the video clip...I am actually surprised at how 'calm' the emirati appears to be....if that was me, I'd be screaming/wailing/kicking about etc

or 'americanism' to be more concise!
that cow and the person that cow talked to need to be made an example of but in all honesty that really wont help as the 'fox-newism' in that nation is very very high!

This guy did not get brutalised. He was cuffed then let go. The cops were actually quite respectfull ; they are legally obligated to respond to the call . Blacks have had far worse expereinces with cops, and they are Americans.
Emirati police would do far worse and the UAE would never apologize.

Re: Warning over UAE national dress after US arrest
On what grounds was he deemed a suspect ?
was he doing anything suspicious or unusual ?
Did he give any indication that he might disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood?
shouldn't there be a law to prevent someone from calling the cops on you just because you looked or dressed in a certain way ?
While I think that the apology was sufficient , yet I maintain that the cops did not have any evidence to suspect this guy except for what the hotel employee said
