Does anyone know the cheapest around dubai? I know the hotels take people out but its only 20mins or so.

Alternatly if someone has a boat I would be willing to pay for fuel, drive boat, teach wakeboarding, try boarding on my board, bring beer, sell soul, fix computers, do DIY, fix cars, etc.

If you can be bothered to drive to Abu Dhabi, the new Forsan sports centre in Khalifa A has two cable-tows, one for beginners and one for advanced. It's 120 dhs for an hour (which is plenty, if you're a beginner). You can start on a knee-board and once you get the hang of that move to a wakeboard.

I have a decent kneeboard too so should be fun

if you go down to the kitesurf beach here in Dubai there are quite a few kite surfers that wake board as well...get friendly with them and bobs your uncle...

yeah... want a kite too, was down there a couple weeks back. It may be a good plan to ask about down there
