VW Used Cars?
 

Before I go and waste my time, is there a specific VW showroom in Dubai for used cars? I know Porsche, Merc etc have separate showrooms for new cars and used cars. There is a VW showroom on SZR - does anyone know if it has used cars? Just don’t want to go there and find out it is new cars only.

Also, does anyone know the price for a Golf GTI or R32 new? Looking at possibly getting a 1 year old GTI or R32 but want to compare the prices.

I am pretty sure 99.9% that there is a main dealer Audi/VW used car showroom in Al Awir car 'souk' - most dealers have their outlets there, Al Tayer, Nissan, Al Futtaim etc - through the main gate almost immediately on the right.

Go down to Al Aweer Auto Market, I was down there Saturday and there were quite a few GTi's and R32's.

Offer them half the price of their first price to, they are sooo quiet and desperate to sell, great time to buy!!

I enquired/inquired (can never remember which is correct in this context) about Golf GTIs in September of last year and they quoted me a price new of 108,000 with fabric seats and 114,000 with leather.

There was a 4 month waiting list at this time too.

Think I need to have a look in Al Aweer market... thanks for the tip.

Even though it is likely to be a shocking price, it may be less hassle to do it this way and try the trade-in option rather than try and sell ours then go shopping after.

(BTW... where is al Aweer? Is it out by Ras al Khor?)
