Sorry that the story is over a week old but, in view of the recent Ohio kidnapping case, this story makes interesting and cheerful reading...

He's a fraud. Been other articles debunking the reports of this guy being a legit Vietnam Vet.

Correct. CIA have known about this guy since the 80's.........They even tested his DNA to prove he was a fraud.

Except the family wouldn't allow it, but the fingerprints don't match. So it looks like Dang Tan Ngoc isn't going to get the backpay or pension.

Yeah I read that too. When you look at him and he looks Vietnamese it kind of bullshits his claim.

The POW's sister is convinced tho, however, not convinced enough to let them do a DNA test. Apparently all the real Vietnam Vets are getting in a right huff about it and have actually threatened to pay him a visit if he persists.

They think its all a scam to try and claim unpaid wages. Quite a long con if it is.

Without looking it up, they took his DNA covertly in the 80's...........They know his DNA does not match. In this programme the family didn't offer theirs as I think they were well aware it was not their husband/dad.
