Re: Valentine's Day
Lord have mercy the saga continues.
So the flowers turn up, not fresh replacement as we were promised.
One, the stem had snapped so they used electrical / plastic tape and a bit of bamboo / wood to hold it together.
The ends of the flowers have little brown bits where they're clearly not fresh.
The card that she received was in a nice pink envelope, on the front of which there was an order of a blue rose with two phone numbers scribbled.
I'm inches from going down to the shop and screaming at the useless ***** in there but I feel it's probably pointless - they won't offer a refund, they'll plainly lie and say they are fresh, they'll claim they weren't broken, they'll maybe offer some more but then that will get ****ed up too.
I ****ing hate this shit cunting country and some of the ****ing hopeless oxygen stealing ****tards who think they are providing any form of ****ing service to paying customers. The ****ing tossers took nearly 60 quid for 10 flowers to be delivered and they ****ed the entire ****ing thing up.

Re: Valentine's Day
Hi,
Please see the attached two photographs of the flowers that were delivered.
These were paid for on the 13th when I visited Dew Drops in JLT.
These were meant to be delivered on the 14th.
These were NOT delivered on the 14th.
The recipient was called on the 15th asking if she had received, she had to drive to her place of work to see if they had been left anywhere. They hadn't.
Then we were promised FRESH, NEW flowers on Sunday (17th) at her place of work before 3pm.
The attached pictures are what were delivered, taken last night, on the day of delivery. Are these fresh?
Please can you explain why one is broken and repaired? Do you think this is acceptable for 335 AED?
DO you think this service is anywhere near acceptable?
I very much look forward to your response and what you intend to do along with Dew Drops to rectify this absolutely disgusting situation and appalling, deceitful customer service.
I suggest that you actually reply to this email, unlike my one on the date of schedule delivery that was completely ignored.
Kind Regards

oooooo, get you! I love a bit of carefully calibrated cold fury. I don't think I've spent 50 quid on flowers in my whole life so I'd sure as shit be all over this...

I especially love it when you can list facts demonstrating how shit something / someone is/are.
No reply yet though. I will take the tactic of forwarding the email again this afternoon. Tomorrow it will get sent hourly until I get a reply.

Darling, send them another email telling them that if they haven't issued you with a full refund within 24 hours you will report them to the Consumer Rights Office at the Department of Economic Development.

YEAH!
Almost instant reply to the one saying I'd forwarded to Consumer Rights mob (which I had).
Then a phone call to follow up, 100% refund coming my way.
Thing is, I'd probably use them again - they'd be so scared of ****ing it up I'd get the best service ever.

Re: Valentine's Day
I just won't ever order flowers online here again. If she gets some more, they'll be from Eppco at the end of the road.
I don't disagree.
