Valentines Day

For those of a romantic disposition and wanting to get their date truly plastered, please be mindful that Valentines Day will be dry. It's the Prophets umpteenth birthday on the 15th and so the preceding evening will be dry, meaning no alcohol served in public.

I never look at stickies. Anyway, a certain establishment is still offering a Valentines Day Special with dinner and a bottle of bubbly at "only AED999 per couple" despite there being no alcohol. Just warning people, that's all.

True, but the idea of shuffling the little darlings off for the day gets me through it.

This may be a shocking thing to say, but it is possible to just have a couple of drinks with a meal and not actually get plastered...

;)
