Vaccine rollout in the UAE

Re: Vaccine rollout in the UAE
I had the antibodies test 3 months after the second dose, the result was 3.8 - reference range is greater than 15 for positive antibodies.

Sarcasm aside, the sheer number of people, including some westerners who claimed the fact that UAE is insisting on Sinopharm means it is the best vaccine out there was alarming. It was classic circular logic, why will they give it to us if it isn't the best?

I never heard that. What I heard were variations on "surely they wouldn't have rolled it out so comprehensively if it didn't work", aka the argument from wishful thinking. On the other hand, those of us in AD had no choice in the matter anyway.

you didn’t have to take it. So there was some choice.

yes...
IIRC same type of vaccines in the sense that they are both adenovirus (dead virus) with differing phase 3 trial results.
They have also been given trade names in some cases.
A google search will show up everything.
Best advice is probably take whatever you can get but if you're concerned have a chat with a local doctor

Fair point. Maybe, the 50pct response rate is per shot and not per person. We will never know as that would require data.
