Vacationing with Syrian Boyfriend
Hi members
I'm new to this site and hope you can answer my question! I have a partner who's Syrian and would like to know where in the world we can go on vacation where it is visa on arrival. I called DNATA and they said the Maldives! Surely there must be other countries we can go to not more than 6 hrs flying from Dubai. HELP! Totally desperate!!!! Any Syrians out there who can help!

we applied 3 times for UK and got knocked back for no logical reason! It was also costly... so now it's easier Visa on arrival

Says 38 countries do not require Syrian nationals to get a visa prior to arriving there.
A few far away ones are : Dominica, Ecuador, Malaysia, Seychelles, Samoa,Micronesia, Madagascar.

Malaysia would be a good choice, not much over the 6 hour boundary either, well set up for visitors, plenty of resort on the beach or in town options, good driving or flying facilities. Definitely worth doing if you haven't already.

Norway is a good option. They have been letting in every Syrian who comes knocking for the last couple of years.
