MM what search engine are you using? Is it the torrent that's blocked or the search?

Re: Utorrent Problems

I can get utorrent up and running (without VPN) showing all the torrents the upspeed is working but no downspeed and when you click on speed box at the bottom it says:-

DHT - not allowed
Local Peer Discovery - not allowed
Peer Exchange - not allowed

very bloody odd

nothing is blocked, that's the point...it's all as normal, but none of the files are downloading or uploading...it just says "connecting tracker to say start, waiting for a response"...when i've tried to download from a blocked site, it says error, so it can't be that...

I may had that problem before. If the download doesn't start, it could be the trackers. If you open the properties of a torrent that is working and copy and paste the trackers into the torrent you are having a problem with, it might overcome the problem. If not,

Sorry, the other thing could be that the torrent is fake and has been removed by the Moderator. If it's a RAR file, I'd suspect this is the answer. What you trying to grab?

EZ was shut off for me a few weeks ago but came back a few days later. No idea why. It's ace for UK TV series but I'm not d/l anything from there at the moment. Will try a search in the morning and let you know if I can snatch and start a d/l.

Sounds as if I know what I'm doing, don't it!

Have you tried stopping the torrent and restarting. I know, sounds like, "Is the plug in, have you turned it on..." but sometimes it works. Dunno why but it does specially after the PC has rebooted.
