Well done Andy Murray, for getting through to the US Open Final.

5th time a charm? Who was it, Lendl who took 5 goes?

The women's match was pretty good too.

Agree totally. The Scotsman is Britain's best player.

Great news............ foul-mouthed American lady who likes to threaten court officials beats Eastern European who likes to squeal like a warthog when playing her shots............ it's ladies' tennis, and I love it................

haha - too funny.... (and a little bit mind reader... )

I'm saying nothing today.... too nervous for the lad.... Nole was smashing the shit out of the ball and out of Ferrer the other day, frightening tennis.

Don't worry. If he wins tonight (which will be great for him and for British tennis) then I'll take the abuse on the chin and ask for custard with my humble pie.

I don't know if he will or won't, I won't make predictions either.

Trivia: Greg Rusedski won the Sports Personality of the Year award just for reaching a Grand Slam final.

Possibility: Andy Murray wins Olympics and US Open, and reaches Wimbledon final............ doesn't even finish in first three of Sports Personality award.

Conclusion: Sports Personality award completely meaningless this year.......... whoever wins it.
