URGENT - Tuxedo
Gents (and maybe Ladies),
Any of you know where I can hire one last minute for a do tonight? I know it's late notice - partly my fault, partly not but that's another story. Help appreciated and rewarded with kind words / beer. |
Re: URGENT - Tuxedo
Didn't Spugsy ask the very same question only a few weeks ago? Do some research and you may be rewarded.

Might just go to MoE and buy one. I love leaving things to the last minute. It's my favourite. |
Re: URGENT - Tuxedo
Tuxedos are declassé; get a dinner jacket.

Re: URGENT - Tuxedo
I thought tuxedo was just the American term for a dinner jacket?

Went and found one, with shirt, bow tie and cummerbund for 1085. It's very far from world class but it'll do the job. Thanks for the help. |

If that turns out to be true then accept my apologies.

S'why I love owning a kilt. No need for all that cummerbund nonsense....
Although, a sporran would hold my wallet, phone and fags nicely |

Re: URGENT - Tuxedo
Tuxedo is american- DJ is english. Originally the DJ is black-as a less formal option to the tail coat in Edwardian times- white was added much later. Never wear a cumberband unless you're american- complete faux pas!
