One of our employees (Filipino also) got pregnant and she was told by human resources "get married or leave the country by next week". She did not get the "or" thing because she got married "and" left.

The only countries that does this are Islamic...not to say all Islamic countries do this but there are plenty that do. About the only places in the middle east where this doesn't happen is Israel and Turkey.

Just think...in some of the most repressive states on the planet like North Korea you wouldn't have to worry about your baby being taken from you because you are not married. Amazing!
