Re: Unhappy marriages and sexual dysfunction
The wife kicked me out, and my friends won't talk to me so I am spending the day in the forums...ahem.

However, I'll give you a 'real life' example of some unhappiness long hours on The Bored have caused. During a conversation I had with one of the spouses of a 'regular' complained that the 'other half 'spent so much time on The Bored that it intefered with their relationship - that they didn't get much alone time to the point that they never even went to bed together as the addiction had gotten such a hold. The Bored was causing some unhappiness.
So, in true Sandpit spirit of talking about trivia and drivel and not much of interest, I was idly wondering if this was more widespread...... that's all really.

Ah Norm, and you other fellas - you don't have to justify or explain yourselves. I was only wondering if The Bored is a bit addictive and if some people spend more time on it to the point where perhaps it might have a detrimental effect in other parts of their lives. Or if they use it as a bit of a crutch to prop up areas in their lives where things might not be as good as they should be. Nothing wrong with that if it serves a purpose.
