So, if someone spends more than an hour on The Bored in a week would they be considered to have any of the following problems:
Of course the list could of course go on and is not applicable to everyone.
Perhaps a poll could be set up to see if there are any damaging effects to people who post or participate in more than 3 or 4 threads a day..........
- Unhappy marriage
- Sexual dysfunction therefore needs titillation from risque posts and threads
- No real social life so to speak
- Bored housewives who are trying to avoid cleaning out the fridge
- Serious lack of social skills
Of course the list could of course go on and is not applicable to everyone.
Perhaps a poll could be set up to see if there are any damaging effects to people who post or participate in more than 3 or 4 threads a day..........

what he said. I also get stuck playing with time zones so often have a few hours when i cant actually work. That and the fact that people in most of africa and the middle east never answer the phone so i have plenty of time where i am working but cant actually achieve anything, thus have time for BE etc

Basically I resent the idea that spending more than an hour a week on the forum is symptomatic of an unhappy marriage or sexual dysfunction. As I am sure many of the other people I know here who are perfectly nice and decent folks (myself excluded of course)
As for lack of social skills...ask anyone who knows me since I run a networking group, and most of my hobbies are social in nature.
