undoubtedly the best...
...christmas song is Fairytale of New York. Was just watching a BBC 3 documentary about the story behind the song, interesting stuff...but my oh my, i hardly recognised shane macgowen, he's gone from skeletal to lardy man...
And yes, this is an unashamed excuse to post a link for one of my all time fave songs, lol...
oh yeah, this reminds me, there is a god...i just read that Cliff Richard has vowed never to release another christmas song, lol...

In 30 words or less - what WAS the story behind the song? I love hearing about stuff like that.
And does anyone else recognise the cop at the start of the video.....?? Now a well-known actor.....
