Maybe they'd be happier if they stopped reading the Daily Mail and voting Tory.

Sure, the political correctness etc. is a bit annoying and there are places where I personally would not want to be seen dead in England, but there are lovely places with lovely people too. Would certainly prefer the UK over some other European countries...like, ermm, France....

As I said on the other thread, and as Alexa says, it depends on where in the UK you live. North Yorkshire is very nice...especially when the temperature is nearly 30 C, as it is today!
