Dammit!

I'm really going to have to step up my game. Its probably because I am nicest with a few beers inside me and then I am most likely to just jump in an RTA taxi rather than book an Uber. A month or so ago I was on my way home in a taxi and asked him to stop to grab a bite. Ended up stopping at a nice Indian restaurant and inviting him in for a nice sit down meal. The look on the other patrons faces (lots of locals) withe me and my driver having a nice sit down was priceless.

I love a good boozy chat with a taxi driver me!

Well, my score has now dropped to 4.15.... from 4.19 yesterday. Just after this morning's drive. Which I tipped and was nice and polite and on time.

Not sure what's really going on.

What is the fascination with your scores, I do not understand it!!! So if you bollock him for taking you the wrong way he gives you a shite score so what, do you ask the tea waller at work if he thinks you are a nice guy/girl???

I don't know. I'm just bothered by it. I've yet to use it in the UK but I know that a low score, and a 4.1 is defined as a low score, makes it harder to get a Uber to respond to your request. They only want 4.5+

4.5 on the global appearance scales is a 9.

Anyone who goes out just looking for a 9 is an idiot. 10's don't exist and we all know that after a few beers anything from 2.5-5 is worth picking up.

My Uber score started to drop when I was using it in Kenya and again recently in UAE.

Turns out:
1. My Kenyan brothers don't like me ****ing their hot sister so mark me down
2. My Desi brothers here don't like it when you order Uber-Basic. All the cars here are the same but they get paid less when you order the cheap one, so mark you down for being a cheapskate.

Point 2 clearly explains DXBDOH's score, and I suspect why Shed is biting at 5.

My score is back up to a 4.25. Stubbornly 4.25 and never goes up or down.

I've given up caring. I always get a uber when I need one. So what's the point of the scoring system?

I'm married to her, that gives you a fair indication of if we were ****ing in the car or not. :lol:
