Whilst you may think its the wrong reason to leave, you don't half feel better for it... Even though its taken a while to acclimatise to the differences between DXB and BKK, I can't say Im sorry about leaving...

I have also gone from 'Never set foot in that shi+hole again', to 'It might be nice to stop off for a day or 2'.....

I took it to mean that money was no longer enough to keep him here and the shi+ bucket has overflowed...

A move anywhere, therefore, is better than DXB, so only if hes lucky or timed it well would a higher salary be involved....

Edited to add : Although probably lucky, I like to think my move outta the ME was simply well timed..... ka-ching..!
