Turned my ankle playing footy last night, can't put any weight on it and hobbling around like a proper mook at the minute,

Got a match tomorrow so what can I do to try and get it right?

It's sort and hurts but isn't swollen, ice pack? sports massage? try and run it off??!

Any ideas kids?

Give the footy a rest, just like the professionals would.

hmmm don't want to though, got a big game tomorrow night and need to try and get it sorted, maybe even strapped up so I can play.

Spugsy, we're just getting old mate, thats the problem....Im limping around with a bad back at the moment and popping painkillers every hour hoping to be ok for football tomorrow.....touch and go though, as cant fully straighten up just now.....groaaaan !

go and see a physio - did mine and listened to the GP who just said rest, healed every six weeks and I would knack it again every time I tried to do anything, this went on for 6 months

sports injury clinic sorted it in one visit, best £30 I ever spent

*it was above the baths on City Road so no use to you at all

heh thats where I went a few years ago as well, its good there. I used to go for a turkish or sauna at lucnhtime when hungover as well, magic.

thats what I'm saying man! Need to find an ankle support at lunchtime, there's a sports shop round the corner, hopefully that'll do the trick.
