TV Series

Anyone got any good recommendations?

I'm mid-season 7 of Walking Dead and it's a little tiresome, even though I'm still enjoying it.

I've got about a week and a bit until she's back and we go on holiday so it's perfect timing to get into something new.

Not massively into anything too sci-fi or far fetched (Walking Dead appealed because it's end of the world scenario).

Thank you in advance

Been watching Ballers, good fun, not too much drama!
All time favorites, after Break Bad and GOT ofcourse, Band of brothers, Pacific, MASH, Sopranos
Everyone has been going on and on about The Wire so downloaded the first Season of it and half way through the first episode wanted to go to sleep, but will force myself to watch a few more and maybe it will grow on me

One season of the Wire is decent (the ghetto one). The one set in Boston is dull.

Was the last one set in the newsroom or the radio station? I didn't enjoy that one. I loved the Wire as it is introduced me to the delectable Idris Elba as Stringer Bell. I loved The Shield too

Yes! Started watching this a couple of weeks ago. Just got to the end of Series 1. Brilliant. Definitely recommend.

Blood Blues
Peaky Blinders (bit violent in places but good to see something set in Britan).
The Good Fight (follow on to the Good Wife).

Really enjoyed all seasons of the Wire.

Designated Survivor and The West Wing are also very good if you can stand American politics.

Currently watching McMafia (BBC) which isn't bad.

Currently watching

Keeping Faith

Unforgotten and just found Striking Out, Irish RTE, series about a Solicitor who finds, almost on the wedding eve, her husband to be in bed with another employee. There are two series, first one 4 episodes, second one 6 episodes,

Broadchurch. First and third season. Second was pointless.

Deep State is pretty good.
I got through three series of Colony fairly quickly.
If you've not seen it, Banshee is very good full of sex and violence.
Westworld is next up on the list.

Keeping Faith is good. Unforgotten i love and would watch the talented Nicola Walker mop a floor

Have you watched unforgotten? If not it is on its 3rd season and very good ( Cop drama) Neil Morrissey of Men Behaving Badly is in this one and boy does he look old. Line of Duty and Save Me is brilliant too
