I have to go to Tunis next week -- any decent nightlife/ recommendations?

No decent night life in my short experience of the place, lots of hooker/dancer style places but things may be different now. Post glorious revolution.
Some area called souse or suez or something like that. Lower your standards considerably and still be prepared to be disappointed

Quite, I don't however sample the goods. Not my style really. I was brought around by one of the locals to a few spots, it worried me to think that this is what he expected me to be interested in.

I was there before the so-called "Arab Spring". Signs of former grandeur when it was still a French colony, but not a lot happening. Expensive but nothing to buy !
