Transferring HSBC UAE Status Account to Singapore

Is there a way to do this or is it worth closing the account totally in the UAE and opening up a new one in Singapore?

Dont have any bills or anything outstanding in the UAE just cant be bothered to reopen an account over in Singapore blah blah blah!

you'd be better off with one of the local banks here in Singapore.
DBS is ok but you can't do international transfers through their online banking which is a pain
