I was dared to nick the oppositions kit after a basketball match, so I did!! Our manager spotted it on the coach and made us give it back.

When I owned and ran a restaurant & bar in Melbourne the main things "borrowed" by the pubic (but never seen again) were, in descending order: teaspoons, ashtrays, champagne flutes, 4 dining chairs and a table (God knows how they managed that !), and a statue of Miss Piggy ! :frown:

Group of us stole traffic cones, and used them to redirect traffic into a friend's driveway :o

My room mate at uni and I 'smuggled' traffic cones into our room once. We went home for our Easter break and came back to find the cleaners had removed them all!

I am completely horrified by the confessions on this thread. I have never stolen anything ... other than the odd kiss here and there.

I have no idea how the Sheraton's silver cutlery service ended up in my kitchen drawer.
