It used to be about cars, now it's about three dicks who think they are comedians.

yep it went off the cars bit a long time ago but its funny what they get up to, but nobody forces you to watch it if you want more "technical" stuff.

I don't bother watching it...maybe because I don't find them funny in the slightest. I honestly can't see why people find them funny anymore.

my boys love it especially when the drop cars from great heights or throw caravans at them etc etc. just a bit of fun.

No, the best Top Gear of all time was the special episode when Jeremy and James raced Richard the length of Greenland up to the north pole. Jeremy and James were in this hugely pimped up Mitsubishi 4x4 and Richard was on a dog sled with some ex world champion woman.

amazing scenery and several bits where you can see Jeremy is cacking himself as they are driving the 4x4 over ice and you can hear it cracking below them. Another good bit is where the sled woman is really pissing hammond off and he is ready to belt her.

It kind of took the predictability out of the races and added a bit of adventure / fear into it.

They were the first ones to drive a road going car to the north pole.
