And talking of Top Films.......... Happy 50th Birthday today to Hitchcock's classic, Psycho.

Released 16 June 1960, and still pretty powerful today IMHO..........

Oooops (hangs head in shame)..........

I didn't like LA Confidential, but that's because having read and really enjoyed the book I felt let down by the film which dropped most of the gritty plot and replaced it with a standard Hollywood plot and happy(ish) ending.

Good books rarely make good films. Bad books do though, The Godfather being one.
