glad to hear it

The key word is "passive".. A lot of Western men kid themselves on they are not classic "Sid the sexist" but they are. It is quite common in older ex-Service types before the military went pc. Thankfully they are a dying breed.

Mmnn - lot of bollox on this thread.

Some really excellent clubs are for older people - Tramp & Raffles in London, Jimmyz in MC, Cielo in NYC spring to mind. I had a couple of classic nights out in Chinawhite with some people a lot older than me before it shut down a couple of years ago. The difference I guess to being older is I spend more time in the VIP section where you can actually talk.

AD is kind of quiet though.

passive?
dying breed- I wish!!

Some people's lives turn to purified shit after they hit that magical number that only exists in their own imagination.

I live life to the fullest and like to think I have an active lifestyle - in every sense and enjoy it with like-minded people of all ages.

Although I did get on that bus quite early, and the ride is free.
Some people prefer to stay away from buses, and ride along in their own limo- looks like a hearse to me.

the club scene in AD is disastrous though!!

Age is a number, you control how it matters....
I go clubbing and I'm older than Kitty. I go for different
reasons.

Reading about VIP areas in clubs reminded me of this little gem:

No that I go clubbing much, but I always assumed that Dubai clubs were full of people 'fighting above their weight' so to speak.

I hate clubbing. Always have, always will. Haven't gone in a decade.

Give me a quiet pub somewhere.

You're spot on there mate, you just have to know where to find them. Here's a few of my favorites:
Rex Club in Paris, SkyBar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood and Top Cats Country Club in Perth.....I didn't care for Cielo in NYC, bad M to F ratio
