I saw the last concert he did here 9 years ago and it was in the car park at The Club..tickets were under 100 Dhs. Was a good night though, around 200 people there.

Are there any Stoke City fans on here? He must be their idol. If you don't know what I'm talking about just listen to the crowd when they play Spurs on Saturday. Would love to see him, but paying Dhs395 plus such a long drive represents a major headache. May look out for some late pricing discounts on Dubizzle instead as I very much doubt that he will sell out.

Just dont stand in the front row..even 9 years ago he was sweating like a fat bird in Greggs. And women were throwing thier knickers at him too.

Even before he could deliver his hit song Sex Bomb, singer Tom Jones bombed out of his concert in Singapore on Friday night.
The 69-year-old Welshman sang two songs in Resorts World Sentosa's (RWS) Compass Ballroom before announcing that he could not continue performing. His voiced had cracked on the last few notes of the second song, Give A Little Love.
'I have a problem,' he said and cleared his throat. 'Honestly, I don't think I can carry on. I hope we can do this again soon.'
Then he walked off the stage. At first, the nearly full-house audience of about 4,000 thought it was a stunt. Some cheered for him and sang the chorus of his hit song, Delilah. Reality hit home when the lights came on and confusion followed.
It took about 10 minutes more before the organisers announced that the concert had been postponed. The audience was told to check the RWS website at www.rwsentosa.com and local media for a rescheduled date, possibly next week.
A resort spokesman later told the media: 'We didn't know that Tom Jones was not feeling well but it's not unusual...'

I saw Tom Jones a few years ago in Howell's Dingle and Jollies department store in Cardiff, he was buying a lounge suite and he was sweating all over the shop.

Went to see him here in Bangkok just over a week ago and he was amazing and sang solidly for over two hours, lots of new songs and even better lots of the old favourites. A great mover still for someone who celebrates his 70th birthday in June.

Tom was here in KL a couple weeks ago, this week we've got Julio Iglesias and Lionel Ritchie. I gather Rod Stewart is also coming to you so how many crumblies are there left to do the rounds? How old is/was the oldest 'performer' to do a tour?
