Toleration - Wahabi Style

Re: Toleration - Wahabi Style
To my mind, such an announcement simply demonstrates a lack of confidence in their own religion.

Cans see the extreme right wingers using this as a reason to burn down mosques in the West. Some people are really not thinking through the implications of this.

Re: Toleration - Wahabi Style
Broken link. Anyway, WFT is toleration?

Re: Toleration - Wahabi Style
"Toleration" means allowing people to practise their own religion and not enforcing your particular brand of Godliness on everyone else.

I don't think the "extreme right wingers" (I think you mean extreme nationalists/christians and general bigots) need any reason to burn down mosques in the West. Most people who live near Mosques hate them because of the noise, parking problems and intimidation to move away. (look that up, it makes for a nice bedtime read of how Europe seems to be committing suicide by slow cuts). Regarding this Fatwa, if it's confirmed it's nothing new for Saudi and will likely be ignored by most of the GCC...because it will inflame tensions and cause them bad international press they simply cannot afford.
