Thursday Morning Thread
Morning helmets,
I've had a double busy week and am thoroughly enjoying a relaxed Thursday, relaxing my way through the day, thinking of very little and doing even less.
What's everyone got on this weekend?

Eat somewhere other than the Red Lion/Don Corleone. Thank God. I've put a stone on in 2 and half weeks.

Does this mean I can't create my Thursday Afternoon Thread? It was becoming a nice tradition.

There must be a fair few equivalents floating around provincial England back in the day too.

Wow.
The original Red Lion had a Don Corleone. Think Dubai in the early 1980s when the old Business Bay location was "way out" in the desert outside the city. It was an unsophisticated time

I'm going to avoid the pub and smoking tonight.
Up early for this 5km thing tomorrow.
Finish that, hopefully some outdoor beers or something.
Saturday, round of golf early doors then a BBQ in the afternoon with friends.

Apologies for my impatience.
Wow.
I didn't realise it was basically a replica / replacement type jobby.
Nice. Doha corniche is pleasant.

Scamp - tip for the run, some of it you will naturally do, some you won’t: get up with loads of time at hand, eat something light, Have coffee and most importantly take a shit.

Suppose to go out tonight with some friends but don’t see it happening. If it doesn’t I’ll get up early and ghostrun the 5k.

I always love seeing the people on the gel packs before a 5 or 10k. Seriously.

We'll see. Maybe something in the morning, maybe not. I'm turning up to plod round, get a medal and prove a minuscule point to myself. Tomorrow afternoon will be beers, cigs and working out how hard a 10k would be.
