The Thorn Birds

Does anyone remember the series?

I got the series in London and had to buy it as i loved it, but now that I have started to watch it again, its a bit warped, a priest in love with a child, teenager, creepy!

But corrrrr Richard Chamberlain was a hottie back then

I cant get the music out of my head, its just there the whole time. Driving me nuts

um yes, kids and priests.... I just don't remember watching it the first time around and feeling it was a bit pervy. When was it first shown? I am trying to think how old i would have been then and if priests and kids was a bit over my little catholic girl head at that time

To be honest I preferred Shogun to The Thorn Birds - hari kari was much more interesting.
