Is there someone for everyone?

Re: Is there someone for everyone?
Oh??? A gun usually fixes that...
This will be a loooong discussion...
From my experience, I thought that yes, I did find my soulmate, but, later, I found out that yes, she was, but, i had another soulmate waiting for me...
Now people will start judging me for this, but, I never cared anyway...
It all comes down to self conviction; if one is satisfied with one and isnt looking around, then one is the number...
But, all of a sudden, the lightning will strike where and when it is highly unexpected, and it is unexpected, and one will discover that they have a lot of love inside them...

Whatever you say, looks have a lot to do with it.
Women may say they don't go for looks, but you don't see beautiful ladies on the arm of a hairy nostriled, wonky faced, ugly man (Donald Trump being the exception to the rule).
There has to be some kind of an initial attraction in order for people to get to know each other.
Even on a friends basis, with people of the opposite sex, they will naturally gravitate towards people they feel comfortable with and that starts in part with looks.
Ok gang, go on, kill me...

Re: Is there someone for everyone?
I have come across many beautiful women who are happily married to guys I would personally regard as being less than good looking but they invariably have other redeeming features; power/wealth, professional talent, sense of humour, nice personality or simply good in bed. On the other hand I rarely see a good looking man with an ugly woman. From my limited experience, men go for looks above most other things, whereas women tend to look at other things in a potential partner.

Can you tell me how Mr hairy fat ugly bloke gets to be with the stunner by being simply good in bed? Does he meet her at an orgy or wife swap?

[QUOTE=scarletfan;6998695]
my mates flatmate over here, his wife demanded 'half of everything he owned', so he moved all his stuff out, but (and I know this is a wee bit extreme) he rented a chainsaw for a day, and went about sawing in half the sofa, armchairs, table, bed etc - got a van and took half of them all and left her with her half.
Crackers I know, but also bloody funny - needless to say she went mental with him.
