Camel beauty pageant- love it! 20000 camels to choose which ones the prettiest!

"Various factors are taken into consideration when assigning a price for a camel. They include age, type, its purity and its sex. The older a camel, the more valuable it is, especially if it's a female because they are the ones that may give birth to future champions. Their prices are often 70 per cent more than males.

I had a pet camel when I was a kid, he was very handsome. Aussie camels are much prettier than the Middle Eastern camels.

aside from the fact that having a pet camel is not exactly standard practice (where I grew up anyway) I am slightly curious how Aussie camels are prettier than ME camels...

Are they less stinky? Teeth not sticking out so much? Less noise from bodily functions?

My father-in-law also had pet camels when I was an adult, Conf and I had a great discussion about the run in I had with one of the bulls one night when it tried to get amorous with me.

We had a pet camel when I was a kid because my grandfather made horse and camel saddles and he had the camel at home to help with fitting the saddles. They're prettier in Aus beacause they're no so inbred apparently......seems to be a bit of problem with more than just the camels in the ME.

and Australia is (apparently) an exporter of camels to the ME as the quality is so good.
