Default Thailand- best flights

Hi All,

Anyone (apart from Lionheart) know of a good airline to fly to Thailand with. Preferably cheap but I don't do cargo and would like to arrive safely and without having to stop in 20 countries. Any recommendations?

Thanks everyone

The rains are in the summer months, so you should be okay.

That's probably because most of them are spending their holiday indoors shagging ladyboys.

Gulf air were cheap as chips when we flew out in Dec 09. 5500 Dh for a family of four via Bahrain. Etihad and Emirates were double. The transit only added a few hours each way.

4 nights in Bangkok will do you , fantastic city , traffics horrendous , loads of pollution , loads of noise and as mad as a bag of Ferrets..!

We flew with Emirates from Newcastle via Dubai, really good flights, short stopovers and they were very competitive prices. We have flown with Thai Airways, Qatar Airways, BA/Quantas, China Airways too, I have to say they were all pertty good, except Qatar Airways because we found the type of plane was too small and it had a big box right under the seat (presumably for the audio equipment) so very uncomfortable. Love Bangkok, 4 days is probably enough and I agree with everything people say about it, traffic, wild etc but a great experience. We always go in February, less humidity but pretty damn hot. You'll have a blast!
