Tevez then...

...well it actually looks as if he's off to City, 'to win trophies' he says but to be honest City are a long way off that, but fair play to them he'll be a good signing.

Oh and if John Terry really wants to 'listen to Man Citys offer' then Chelsea should put him on the transfer list, he's on £140k a week and he still wants more, what an utter disgrace.

Here is a well balanced article rather than those silly buggers making up daft wages and motives out of their heads. Lucio, the catain of Brazil, next?

he knows he will get a starting place at citeh. thats why he's gone there instead of Chelski.

always put in 100pct at United but in the end was just too much like Rooney and of the two would always go for Rooney.

Just wait and see how good the Boj will be this coming season. Tevez will have to earn his place.

That may have been simply to encourage Tevez to sign on the dotted line...

I hope he rots in hell. He's a complete liar and a disgrace of a human being. He left because we didn't do enough to keep him....fair enough. But he also left to be guaranteed first team football. Yeah, that's going to happen.

Citeh are welcome to him.

It seems to me that Fergie is the real bastard (he only bothered to speak to the lad twice in two years) but you knew I would say that, didn't you? Am glad we got Tevez and not Etoo, as the latter really does seem to be a trouble-maker. Let the good times roll.

So LH, if this isn't tapping up a player...what is...??

City think they can get away with anything just 'cos they've got a few bob behind them...???.......I sincerely hope they win **** all in the next 5 years

Mark Hughes urges John Terry to take up challenge
Oliver Kay, Football Correspondent

Mark Hughes is confident that John Terry will join Manchester City, tempted by a “new challenge”. Hughes signalled his growing belief yesterday that the Chelsea defender can be lured to the City of Manchester Stadium as the club unveiled Carlos Tévez as their latest signing.

Hughes suggested that the England captain would relish the opportunity to follow Gareth Barry, Tévez and, almost certainly, Emmanuel Adebayor to the world's richest club. If that was not enough, the plan is to make Terry the best-paid player in the Barclays Premier League, with a deal worth more than £200,000 a week.
