Completely agree. The Western use of money as a political tool is part of our society these nutters despise - seems sensible to fuel the fire. And of course Western society doesn't have any other use for $500 million after all.... Madness.

the taliban pays most of its "volunteers" in Afghanistan anyway so its no different and besides if it works its a very very cheap way of fighting a war if it doesnt it only the equivalent of a few smart bombs anyway.
