Tailors
Afternoon,
Tailor needed. Want to get some new suits made. My boss had two made for about 2500 and they're surprisingly nice for that money. Would like to spend the same sort of cash, he got them done somewhere in Satwa. I'd ask him where but we don't see eye to eye at the moment and the less contact the better. So childishness aside, anyone got any good recommendations for that sort of price? Cheers Suited Scamp. |

Re: Tailors
Don't be uptight mate - sports casual is more befitting the professional man of 2011. A Diadora suit with a Lonsdale T-Shirt

Nothing wrong with the tailoring - just the choice of materials was quite a good and the buttons feel a bit cheaper. Not that the buttons are of great importance to me in the grand scheme of things. |

Yes - they are OK. Not as good as Kachins though, but cheaper. I've used them twice (using cobone vouchers) to make copies of shirts I had made at Kachins. Not done a suit there.

Re: Tailors
A really good tailor is Whistle & Flute in Satwa. He's buried in an arcade on Al hudeiba Street between Al Wasl and the Satwa high street (roughly behind Iranian Hospital).
Nice guy. Excellent tailoring. Feels like an old fashioned gentleman's tailor from 19th century London. But not the cheapest although you do get what you pay for. |

You obviously don't suffer from koumpounophobia then. That's gotta be weird. (Not you not suffering from it, the fact that some people do.)
