Time trials currently in progress around the back of the DIFC. Traffic well backed up....expect chaos around 5.00pm. Metro is recommended today and tomorrow. Or stay at home.

Off to 'Ducktape' at MoE tomorrow to watch a kids Shakespeare thing.

Need to get to MoE by 5.30pm from Abu D. Am I likely to be held up?

Also, not being funny or anything but...isn't picture two (tomorrow) wrong?

That isn't Umm Sequiem road, that's Hessa, isn't it?

So assuming it's on US and just been drawn incorrectly?

According to the route map for today's event, the cyclists are not even using SZR or Al Khail Rd so why on earth are they being closed?

Where else would schools be closed for a flipping cycling race?

Never mind about education, here are some people in lycra.

So presumably SZR was not closed despite Gulf News saying that it would be, unless only around the Dubai Mall exit where the cycling was being done.
