Swine Flu Back Home
It seems to be getting a little more worrying if these latest deaths are anything to go by. It says somewhere that they are talking of innoculating 20 million Brits in the next few weeks...maybe Mumbai would be a safer holiday destination.

I like hanging out at Slots A Fun for all the blemishes that make other people hate it. Slots A Fun is the Hills Have Eyes of Vegas casinos. I literally saw a man covered in third degree burns, wearing a dirty trench coat, with what had to be a prostitute on his arm. Gigantic pigeons crowd the entrance pick pocketing drunks and waiting for tourists to drop food. The 99 cent hotdog is edible but couldn't possibly be "food". The texture and taste was like a hotdog shaped sponge that had been floating around in hotdog water. My friend did not carry the 99 cent hotdog to full term and performed the big spit into a trashcan. Beer costs something ridiculously cheap like $1.50. This is trailer park gambling and it is entertaining as hell. And the casino literally smells like vomit. Go for the cheap gambling, cheap beer and the free freak show. I've been three times, on three visits, and will eventually go back for a fourth |

Surely anyone presenting with flu symptoms should be given the swine flu meds regardless?
However; where I live, we're not even receving "readily available" meds until the end of August. They are only giving out the meds for people who are properly diagnosed with it, not suspected to have it. The reason being (apparently) the scientists don't know enough about it. If they go ahead and give everyone a quick jab, the swine flu could adapt. We've had several cases confirmed at my brothers primary school and sisters secondary school. Some people have been diagnosed with Swine Flu and were thought to have had it for between 5-7 days, but most 'healthy' young adults (who are most likely to get it) are thought to be able to fight the flu just as easily as seasonal flu (by staying in bed, taking paracetamol or ibuprofen, etc). Still, it's a little scary - because a healthy doctor (who has been treating swin flu patients) and a healthy young girl have both died. That makes 3 healthy people in the UK with no underlying medical difficulties to have died from Swine Flu. I actually have a sore throat, chesty cough and raging headaches.... but a lemsip is already helping that  |
