Spoke too soon - Lap 34, Lewis has a bump with Kubiza spins off... Drops to second & his lap-times fall off due to damaged car... Kimi on a one-stop strategy, could prove to be a winning tactic...

Webber's had a smash & is out, the safety car is deployed and the front runners bunch up. Lewis pulls away and make 4.5 s lead in 5 laps - but does he have enough of a lead for a final pit stop????

Hamilton continues to hold out in pole. Kimi makes a charge from 5th and challenges Courthald for 4th - if he passes, Massa will let him by for 3rd..

Kimi passes DC - nearly fluffs is by running wide immediately after but holds his position. Massa pits (again???) and Kimi has 2.1 seconds to catch up on Heikki Kaivoleinen to take 8 points and make it a Hamilton vs Raikonen fight for the title....

it's been a massacre - 7 cars crashed out, safety car's been out & the rain hasn't helped. Looks like the 2 hour limit will be reached before it reaches 67 laps. Must help Hamilton who's gotta be running on fumes by now...

Kimi has Kavoleinen in his sights, and is swinging out to have a look at passing him... he has less than 5 minutes to get past the renault and take 8 points...

By my reckoning a 12 point lead means that Alonso will need to finish 3 or 4 places ahead of Lewis in the next 2 races. Kimi is 17 points adrift and his only hope is 2 wins with Hamilton out of the points....
