Just realised that our wedding anniversary, a couple of weeks back was on NAtional Day,

so does that mean we'll have a day off for our anniversary every year? :o

Most marriages don't last, so your statement may only be true if you remain married :p

But even if you move to another country, like Wales for example and it was no longer National day in that country, it would still be national day in the UAE (as long as the UAE remains the UAE and doesn't split) and even though you wouldn't automatically get a day off in Wales (land of the small and woolly) you could make a note of National Day and choose to take it off work.

You may also choose to work on your anniversary, as you grow older, spending time with your wife may become a chore.
