I got the email from them yesterday and pulled out my November bill to check. Water going up by just over 30% and electrity by just upwards of 25% hefty increases!

Lets hope Dewa don't follow suit.
If they really want to promote sustainability and protect the environment make everybody pay the same rates!

The only thing that they want to sustain is their self indulgent excessive lifestyles.
And it's "protect their environment" meaning they can still pay for an army of minions to polish their solid gold bogseats

Are you feeling right Norm? Normally you post well researched stuff (albeit with incredible bias) but this really is utter tosh.

Nuclear is super expensive on all measures. Fission may always meltdown and solar is about the cheapest form of power there now is.

Yep. Only need to pay peanuts to Sub-continentals to wash the solar panels free of dust.

Edited that for you.

Social, technological and political pressure and changes will bring renewables to the fore. Storage is key, and that'll be here in the way it needs to be before long.

Lies, damn lies and nuclear statistics is all that supports nuclear.
