Re: Steakhouses
The Rib Room went down hill after a succession of chefs coming and going. It has just reopened after a refurbishment and they have a new head chef , Anna used to be the head chef at MJ's so it is going to be back on form :-)
The Agency has also moved to what used to be the ribroom bar next door.

It'll not be long before you're up to the 450 gram 56 day aged Wagyu with grade A fat distribution coupled with a bottle of Petrus 86...

The 'Best Steakhouse' winner in the Time Out awards was Seafire at Atlantis, which I don't know.
Anyone been?

A friend of mine has been a few times and she rates it. Couldn't answer personally as I am still boycotting The Atlantis; mostly on grounds of taste.

I have to say I still like it, I like a big steak and chips and they do it well. And those lamb skewers where the meat drips onto the chips, unreal.

I've had a couple of steaks at the Meat Co. and it's always been good, maybe not great, but better than most of the other places here.
Best steak I've had in UAE was the Wagyu at Teatros // Park Rotanna. Didn't need the knife it was so soft. Bloody expensive mind!

Re: Steakhouses
Compared to anything the Meat Co steak I had was lush. End of story. I cant remember exactly but had a 100+ day aged American sirloin and if it was shite in comparison to other places suggested then you must never be satisfied.

You're wrong. You might need to sit down to acknowledge this as you probably don't think you've been wrong before but you are.

Thanks for the tip

Re: Steakhouses
Just didn't think the steak I ate was shite compared to what else might be out there...perhaps a more useful input would be along the lines of; "wait until you've tried XYZ or ABC steakhouses, they're even better".

I had a lovely bit of squirrel at the Outback the other day.
With the magic voucher two, very good, fillet steaks for 100dibs. Can't argue with that.
