Spugsy!!! football!

Re: Spugsy!!! football!
I used to support Aston Villa when I lived in the UK. Went to see matches about once a month or so. I stopped going once we had knocked Coventry out of the Premiership, it got messy outside the ground after the game and really turned me off.
Mounted riot police, helicopters, violent fans on both side etc isn't really the atmosphere i'm looking for. I know it was probably a one off event but it was enough to put me off.
Why are the brits like this? Going to watch a baseball match (yankees vs bluejays) was a much better experience. All fans mingling with each other, no segregation in the stadium, good banter, thats what sports should be about.

its not Brits its just football supporters (minority thereof)

We'll see LH, one swallow doesnt make a summer......and you should know that after your team were stuffed 4-2 last week
The EPL is very competitive and majority of the teams can beat one another on a given day.....evidenced by the fact that after 2 games, only Chelsea and Liverpool have max points !
Anyway, we will still finish above City at the end of the season I have no doubts

We were crap yesterday and nevr looked like getting into the game, and City played well to be fair, mind you given our shambolic defending it wasnt too difficult for City
