sports headphones
I have gone through endless sports wireless headphones...I've had Beats, JBL, Adidas, etc and hence paid a fortunate for each pair (on average over £100) and none of them have lasted more than several months - each time they just conk out.
Can anyone recommend any decent good ones by experience?

Re: sports headphones
Are you looking for headphones that wrap around your head and don't pop out of your ears?
When i did triathlons/park runs I used these badboys (but i remember them being orange)

I never understand the need to buy expensive headphones. Always buy the cheap chinese ones, which usually last for a month or two and then just chuck them and get new ones. Since they are super cheap it doesnt hurt when you chuck them.
and yes I am a barbarian when it comes to sound quality, hey I grew up in the days of double sided cassettes ok? If the sound wasnt that great, you just took out the cassette, wound it up tighter and cleaned the head of the player with some spit and polish

Re: sports headphones
The only ones that will stay in my ears are those with varying sizes of silicone cones (apart from those which wrap round your ear, which I find bloody uncomfortable). So I use normal earphones, but connected to a Bluetooth receiver which I keep in my pocket, and run the cable down inside my training shirt and shorts and into my pocket via a small hole which I cut there. Or sometimes just connect it to an iPod mini (the small, square one, whichever version that was), and also keep that in my pocket.
Similarly I don't buy expensive headphones, coz the sweat tends to attack them. Usually Japanese ones (decent make) for £20-30, plenty good enough for using during a workout. Get about a year / year-and-a-half out of them before, usually, the cable starts to go.

Just had a look and the bluetooth sports earphones kick in at £160, so are slightly more than what you've paid for in the past but are well worth it IMO.
Failing that, I'd recommend Sennheiser.

I've got a pair of Beats, but swear by Bose (I've got their NC headphones, in-ear earphones and speakers for my computer) - my headphones I've had since university so are about ~8 years old (and are awesome on a train/airplane - block out everything), and aside from replacing the earpads (which cost me less than $10), work like a charm!

You can pick an entry pair up for 200 chips and they have the lock in moulded ear piece and certified by the IM association which you can clean and wash , they're built for endurance exercise so will stand the test of time .
You'll get them in Go Sports / Virgin

Re: sports headphones
I use the free ones off the flight..... joke...
I do use the cheapy Apple copies tho. They're fine for exercise. Put them inside your shirt and jobs a goodun. I'm shocking with headphones tho. I use them all the time but destroy them constantly either by putting them through the was or just generally snagging and killing them. The one time I did pay a decent whack for some I managed to leave the jack end trailling out the car door and drove all the way to the east coast. By the time I got out half the jack had been worn away.
