I don't know what you people consider a spa but here it's a sauna, a steam room, a hot tub and a cold plunge- and if you have all that in the privacy of your hotel room there's nothing better. You can recover from anything. After walking 36 holes of golf in the blazing Vegas sun, followed by a few cold ones and a nice meal at the clubhouse and most guys are ready for a nap..Me too, but I can completely and totaly rejuvenate with this formula..

1/2 hour-steam room- Bring in lots of ice water
5 min- cold plunge
1/2 hour-103 degree hot tub
10 min- cold plunge
Cool shower/shave

All followed by a cup of blue mountain coffee from room service and your ready to go all night.

Going back to the original question, I recently booked an aromatherapy massage and a Thai massage for a friend's birthday at the Talise Spa at Al Qasr. There are a number of offers on at the moment but I decided to get access to the beach club rather than go for the 30% discount or the 2 for 1 offer on the massages that they were offering. You can check it out here: http://www.jumeirah.com/en/Hotels-an..._-Talise-_-Spa

Following our massages we spent the day on one of the beach beds drinking rose, eating burgers and swimming.

The aromatherapy massage was particularly excellent, and you can use the spa's pools, steam rooms and saunas before and after your treatment.
