If women wear a pair of pants, a pair of glasses, and a pair of earrings, why don't they wear a pair of bras?
Why do they call it your "bottom", when it's really in the middle of your body? When you're sending someone styrofoam, what do you pack it in? Whose cruel idea was it for the word "lisp" to have an "s" in it? Why is it called a "building" when it is already built? Why is it called 'after dark', when it is really after light? Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard? Why is it that when you transport something by car, it's called a shipment, but when you transport something by ship, it's called cargo? Can fat people go skinny-dipping? Are zebras black with white stripes, or white with black stripes? Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations? |

Is it just me, but Doctor Who is a children’s TV program isn’t it? Anyone over the age of 13ish really shouldn’t be interested in it anymore. I really can’t understand why it’s become so en vogue, again. |

It was never solely a children's programme - there was always that sense of mystery and unease aimed at older tastes. And don't forget the original Doctor (as played by William Hartnell) was something of a 'baddie'.
I think the real answer to your question (why it is 'en vogue' again) is that people who started watching it fifty years ago are still interested in the story lines, and watching the series progress. Why give it up? |
