So UAE bans the movie "Noah" ?

American press is reporting that some GCC countries including UAE have banned the movie "Noah". Egypt's Al Azhar University (Most prestigious Islamic center of learning) also recommends Egypt ban "Noah".

Since Noah is a prophet in Islam too, it haram to portray him. Haram I tell ya!

Al-Azhar is definitely not the most prestigious Islamic center for learning...maybe like 50 years ago it was. And yes, visual depictions of prophets are not permissible.

Which University is then? Everything I read says it is Al Azhar.

I try, but I can't think of a follow on to this set up.
