done some research and asked a Muslim friend about this, stoning is not mentioned in the Quran and proving Adultery is very difficult as it has to be witnessed by 4 people.

But the Quoran is taken in all sorts of ways yeah? Some muslims are more relaxed and the taliban and saudis read more into it and are fully, turbo mental.

no, but similar things are written in the Old Testament too... and I think there it does actually spell out stoning as a recommended recourse for certain social "crimes". Not very "love thy neighbour".

Actually it is! Sadly it's the fanatics that interpret it in such a way as to make it full of hate and intolerance. Sadly the moderate muslims won't stand up and fight that attitude.
