And with the Wills and wotsit wedding this year I am sure young farmer chic look will be back in with avengence- personally I can't stand it specially when worn with a fake posh accent! grrr - now proper old skool eccentric english types I can live with- Prince Phillip is fab - nothing wrong with mad people trying to shoot at animals/hired help etc but young fake posh - I can just see all these young chavs adopting the Middleton trend - it's all going to become very ironic!
Having said that I do love a pair of wellies when taking the hounds out yahahahaa- oh shoot me please!

It's odd how here in the US , the Defender is a upscale, country club, doctor ,yuppie vehicle. A used 110 in mint condition sold for over $80 grand recently at Barrett Jackson, thats twice as much as what it cost new in 1993.

whats really funny is that 90% of the UK's farmers wear green wellies, shoot often and drive landies as a set of defining traits its a pretty crappy selection really.

The townies never see the mud. The endless acres of mud. Muddy floors. Muddy dogs. Muddy clothes. England is supposed to be the land of green but underneath all the green bits it's very definitely brown.
My parents once had weekend guests from London who sent them a cleaning bill for their clothes that got mud and grass stains.

Really? I wonder which types which types would go there. Obviously not the Eco Sloane (Can be heard these days saying things like: 'Simply put,our grandfather's battle was the Second World War; ours is Climate Change') and DXB represents everything these lot oppose.
Thumping Sloane; His instinct tend to be traditional (abroad 's all right, except for the Johny Foreigners), favouring anywhere which was once ruled by men in long Khaki shorts. Prefers bull run at Pamplona than dxb...Think of Richie Brindle...
Sleek and Euro Sloane ( this divides time btn St Tropez, St Moritz, Gstaad(he never skis in Val d'Isere-too many uncouth Brits and Yanks) dont get me started on females...hit and miss here.
Bongo Sloane ...Ashrams, Retreats, Vegetarian, Past-life regression, channeling the dead....dxb is just opposite of this.
I would place my bet btn the Chav Sloane and Sloane off the rails.
Ohh re Kate of course seems a lovely girl and she would make a wonderfully loyal and dignified consort to Wills. However the suggestion she's a Sloane? Yes, she went to Marlborough, Yes she wears Dubarry Boots, Yes, she gets the look absolutely right and yes she's had a long term relationship withe heir to the throne. But being a Sloane to my understanding is much more than that, after all one of her parents was an air hostess! Lets just say Marlborough alone doesn't make an instant Sloane.
