slaves to Gillette...
there's been features in men's mags in the UK lately about shaving with double edged safety razors and just being more 'manly' and saving a packet on hugely price-inflated 5-blade cartridges... anyone here actually doing it? and still alive to tell the tale?

An old girlfriend once asked me to 'shave' her pubes using a cutthroat.......as far as I know, she's still alive.............

There is a 6 blade comming soon (Yes, really!). I think we are already into phase 2 or 3 of the 5 bladed ones with protection strips and handles that vibrate .
I use a Wilkinson sword classic double edge though. It cuts nicely, just uses standard blades and comes in a nice metallic finish. What more do you need?
Mercur and Parker are good as well I've been reliably informed.

I don't bother shaving myself anymore! Just go to the barber's and get them to do it. It's sooooooo cheap out here.
